Me & Music

Hey! For my first blog, I’m going to share some things about myself! First I’ll start with my go to music or favorite type of music. Most of the time when I’m listening to music I’m doing something that I need to focus on or zone in for games. Therefore, my music normally always has to have a solid beat to it. If I can nod my head to it I’m listening to it. I click on my Pandora and play my Dababy radio station. I do this, because I suck at either picking a song, or remember the song title and artist. It just plays music that I either know, like, dislike, or I didn’t know. However, my favorite song right now would have to be “Praise God” by Kanye West ft. Travis Scott and Baby Keem.

Next, I would like to share a song that I have a connection with. A song that I will always have a connecting with is a song that I share with my dad. He was always there for me as a kid when it came to softball. He always thought it was important to play this one particular song before every tournament. It is “Let’s Go!” By Trick Daddy ft. Lil Jon and Twista. It would always pump up my sister and I before we headed out to play ball. I still till this day with play it before a game. Which I always reflect back to him every time. It’s not a deep deep connection, but it is something that means a lot to me. I love my dad, and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be where I am today with softball and life.

Lastly, whenever it comes to music I don’t like. For me, it has to be hardcore punk. I just don’t really enjoy that type of music that’s screaming, and it is dark and just not my type of vibe. I’ve never really sat and listen to it either. I’ve just never been really introduced to it, but the little bit that I’ve heard I just don’t really understand how to enjoy it. It just kinda throws me for a loop.

I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit more about me and my flavor of music. Can’t wait to hear back and see others post! Have a great day!
